Truman never set out to open a restaurant. He just loved two things: eating way too much food and watching stuff catch on fire (safely, of course). One day, while grilling for friends, he got carried away—there were flames shooting up, shrimp flying across the room, and rice everywhere. Instead of calling the fire department, his friends called it the best dinner of their lives. That’s when Truman realized: this should be a restaurant.

And so, SUMO KITCHEN was born. Big portions, big flavors, and even bigger fun. Our chefs don’t just cook—they flip, sizzle, and occasionally launch a shrimp your way (don’t worry, it’s part of the experience). We believe dinner should be exciting and leave you so full you start rethinking your life choices.
